COVID-19 UPDATE

Despite the COVID-19 outbreak, we opened on Monday April 13, 2020 so we can provide much needed care for our patients. In order to keep our staff and clients safe and healthy, we are following guidelines from the Public Health Agency of Canada.

  • Our waiting room and exam rooms are closed to clients. Please phone to book an appointment, and let us know if you or someone that you have contact with has travelled outside of Canada or is showing signs of illness.

  • Once you arrive at the clinic, please phone 250-585-1721 to let us know that you have arrived. One of our staff members will then come to your car to transport your pet into the clinic.

  • Please ensure that all cats are in a carrier, and dogs are on a leash so we can safely transport them into the clinic.

  • Once inside the clinic, we will try to do our physical exam in the front window where you can view your pet from your car or outside the window. We ask that you please do not touch the window to help decrease the spread of the coronavirus to others.

  • Our veterinarian will discuss the exam and treatment plans with you over the phone or in the parking lot, respecting the 2 m social distance.

  • All payments will be made by credit card over the phone, or by e-Transfer to admin@linleyvalleyvet.ca.

  • As a veterinary clinic, we are accustomed to stringent cleaning and disinfecting protocols, as well as frequent hand washing. However, we will be increasing our frequency of these protective measures during the COVID-19 outbreak.
