Veterinarian

Dr. Emily Lieuwen was born and raised in Ladner, BC. She moved to Victoria to complete her undergraduate degree at the University of Victoria where she played on the varsity soccer team. Her studies then took her to Saskatoon, SK where she completed both her veterinary degree and a Master in Business Administration. Tired of the prairie winters, Dr. Emily and her partner moved to Nanaimo where they live with their sweet senior kitty.

Her professional interests include preventative medicine, canine and feline behaviour, and improving access to veterinary care. In her spare time, Dr. Emily loves reading, playing soccer, and exploring all that Vancouver Island has to offer.
